During July 2013, powered by premiere and encores of "Teen Beach Movie" and the debut of "Liv and Maddie," Disney Channel, the 24-hour kid-driven, family inclusive television network, swept target demos, ranking as cable TV's #1 network in Total Viewers (1.96 million) and TV's #1 network across Kids 2-11 (1.10 million/2.8 rating), Kids 6-11 (804,000/3.4 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (684,000/2.9 rating), extending its #1 streak to 27 and 39 consecutive months, respectively, in the latter two demos.
Disney Channel out-performed Nickelodeon by double digits for the 25th consecutive month in both Kids 6-11 (+45% - 804,000 vs. 553,000) and Tweens 9-14 (+83% - 684,000 vs. 373,000), and registered its biggest advantage in nearly 1 year in Total Viewers (+5% - 1.96 million vs. 1.86 million) and Kids 2-11 (+12% - 1.10 million vs. 982,000) - since July 12. In Prime, Disney Channel lengthened its streak as TV's #1 network to 101 consecutive months in Kids 6-11 (1.13 million/4.8 rating) and to 97 months in Tweens 9-14 (925,000/3.9 rating). The premiere of "Teen Beach Movie" stood as the month's #1 TV telecast across Kids 2-11 (4.59 million/11.6 rating), Kids 6-11 (3.89 million/16.5 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (3.39 million/14.3 rating) - and the #1 cable TV telecast year to date in the demos - and based on L + 3 ratings, was the month's #1 cable TV telecast in Total Viewers (11.92 million).
