This week, HARVEY star, Jim Parsons, is in New York to promote the season finale of "The Big Bang Theory." It has not yet been confirmed if his invisible rabbit, Harvey, will be joining him.

Tune into WNYC Radio's "The Leonard Lopate Show" on Wednesday, April 24 at 12:40pm, CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman" on Thursday, April 25, CBS' "This Morning" on Friday, April 26 at 8am, and ABC' "Live with Kelly & Michael" at 9am.

Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Harvey played an acclaimed, sold-out run on Broadway in the summer of 2012, directed by Scott Ellis. Critics said , "the angel-faced Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory, The Normal Heart) faultlessly embodies the affable Elwood; his Jimmy Stewart guise Suits him down to his socks" (Vogue) and "Harvey casts a satisfying spell. Jim Parsons is supremely winning. Hope is a thing with long, fuzzy ears." (NY Times).

Parsons starred as one of modern theatre's most lovable characters, Elwood P. Dowd. Charming and kind, Elwood has only one character flaw: an unwavering friendship with a 6-foot-tall, invisible white rabbit named Harvey. In order to save the family's social reputation, Elwood's sister Veta (Jessica Hecht) takes Elwood to the local sanatorium. But when the doctors mistakenly commit his anxiety-ridden sister, Elwood - and Harvey-slip out of the hospital unbothered, setting off a hilarious whirlwind of confusion and chaos as everyone in town tries to catch a man and his invisible rabbit.
