DISCOVERY FAMILY and MITÚ Partner for New Original Programming

Discovery Familia (www.discoveryfamilia.com), the Spanish language network dedicated to Hispanic women and everything that is important in their lives and MiTú (www.MiTú inc.com), the next-generation media company exclusively dedicated to Latino content, announced today that it has signed a cross-platform programming deal to bring MiTú's hottest Latino talent to Discovery Familia's TV and digital audiences.

This fall, Discovery Familia will premiere the long-format version of two new series "Casa Linda," featuring home design expert and professional Art Director, Linda Ruiz and "Gurús de Belleza," starring beauty and fashion influencers Marisol Gomez, Cris Ordaz and Gaby Motomochi. Both shows were originally produced in-house and incubated on MiTú's owned and operated Youtube channel MiTú Life.

New episodes of the digital series will continue to run on MiTú Life, and original episodes of the television series will air weekly on Discovery Familia, both tied with a cross-platform engagement program that provides viewers with a truly immersive multi-screen experience.

Casa Linda - (Premiere: Nov. 20, 2014) With a background as a professional TV and film art director, Linda Ruiz is one of the most sought after DIY and home design specialists on the web. In this series, Linda will come to the rescue of well-known web personalities and everyday people, as she adds style and flair to their homes by providing quick, easy and affordable design tips, including how to upcycle and make ordinary items look unique, special and new.

Gurús de Belleza - (Premiere: Dec. 12, 2014) Marisol Gomez, Cris Ordaz and Gaby Motomochi are three popular Latina beauty influencers helping young women across the country achieve the perfect look and level of self-confidence for a specific occasion or event. These beauty gurus will provide expert head-to-toe analysis and share professional techniques and practical advice that women everywhere will be able to replicate in their homes.
