Cooking Channel also heads overseas with Luke Nguyen's Greater Mekong on Saturday, August 11th at 12:30pmET/ 9:30amPT as Luke Nguyen travels across Southeast Asia in search of unique flavors, local specialties, and cooking traditions. Premiering Friday, August 17th at 10pm ET/7pm PT - "Nashville" - SERIES PREMIERE!
Eden kicks off her Nashville, Tenn., tour by stopping for a traditional Thai salad and some exercise, followed by a stop at a Somalian restaurant. She continues her journey with Bosnian cuisine and history while making a traditional stuffed onion dish for dinner. She then stops in for a late night drink, snack, and some dancing at an Irish pub, followed by an early morning baking session at a Kurdish Halal market. To finish her eating marathon, Eden visits a Ghanaian market for a traditional African experience.
Premiering Friday, August 24th at 10pm ET/7pm PT - "Tampa"
Tampa, Fla., is a city full of different cultures and cuisines, and Eden is ready to experience them all. She begins at a roti shop where she learns about traditional Trinidadian food. Next, she makes feijoada with a Brazilian family, apple strudel with a German baker, and helps prepare dinner at a Greek restaurant. After sunset Eden heads to Ybor City to check out the nightlife, where she picks up some fried pork and tries her hand at Cuban cigar rolling. She wraps up her tour with some late-night Colombian food. After 24 hours in Tampa, Eden's feet are sore, but her stomach is satisfied.
