Cinedigm Acquires Digital Rights for LOVE MARILYN

Submarine Entertainment announced today that it has sold US DVD/Digital/VOD rights to Cinedigm Entertainment Group to Oscar Nominated Director Liz Garbus's feature documentary film LOVE MARILYN. Submarine previously sold US TV rights to HBO Documentary Films at the Toronto Film Festival and has also sold all Canadian rights to Mongrel Media and Airline Rights to Jaguar Distribution.

The deals were negotiated by David Koh, Josh Braun & Dan Braun of Submarine Entertainment along with Stanley Buchthal of Diamond Girl Productions on behalf of the Producers and the Director along with Emily Rothschild, Director of Acquisitions & Susan Margolin, Co-President of Cinedigm Entertainment Group; Hussain Amarshi, President and Caroline Habib, Manager of Acquisitions for Mongrel Media; and Mona Kwan, VP, Acquisitions & Publicity for Jaguar Distribution.

LOVE MARILYN was Written, Directed & Produced by Liz Garbus. Produced by Stanley Buchthal and Amy Hobby. Executive Produced by Olivier Courson, Harold Van Lier, Enrique Steiger, and David Koh.

Coinciding with the 50th Anniversary of Marilyn Monroe's death, LOVE MARILYN features never before seen footage and audiotapes along with Marilyn's own handwritten letters, diaries, notes, poems, journals, and notebooks which document her precious inner life against the backdrop of her very public life and loves. Readings and appearances by F. Murray Abraham, Elizabeth Banks, Adrien Brody, Ellen Burstyn, Glenn Close, Hope Davis, Viola Davis, Jennifer Ehle, Ben Foster, Paul Giamatti, Jack Huston, Stephen Lang, Lindsey Lohan, Janet McTeer, Jeremy Piven, Oliver Platt, David Strathairn, Lili Taylor, Uma Thurman, Marisa Tomei, Evan Rachel Wood.
