According to Variety, character actress Patsy Garrett passed away on Jan. 8, in Indio, CA. She was 93 years old.

Garrett was best known for her roles in the BENJI films, starring in the Purina Cat Chow commercials as the "chow-chow-chow" woman, and for her various roles on many television series, including ROOM 222, NANNY AND THE PROFESSOR, and voicing roles in many Hanna-Barbera cartoons.

Donations may be sent to Children's Playtime Productions here.

On the donation page, her family writes: "There was nothing that made our Patsy happier than seeing children find their passion on stage. Please continue to support Children's Playtime Productions which, while she was able, Patsy found much happiness in volunteering her time. Our family thanks you for keeping her memory alive through this wonderful organization."
