Cara Delevingne Announces Debut Album NOT NORMAL, Releases "Crazy, Baby"
The single's video, directed by Bradley J. Calder, stars Samara Weaving alongside Delevingne.
Cara Delevingne released her new single, 'Crazy, Baby' via Warner Records. The song was written by Cara, Sarah Aarons (Tame Impala, Gracie Abrams, Zedd), Sammy Witte (Harry Styles), and BJ Burton (Bon Iver, Charli xcx), and co-produced by Cara and Burton. Alongside the release, Cara premiered the video for the new track. Directed by Bradley J. Calder, the fiery video stars Samara Weaving alongside Cara in a passionate romance in their beautiful home — but as the video unravels, it's clear this love story isn't what it seems.
In tandem with the release, Cara announced that her debut album, Not Normal, will arrive on September 25. Music has always been a passion for Cara and the upcoming album showcases her talent with how masterfully she intertwines different sounds paired with her vulnerable lyrics.
This newest single arrives on the heels of Cara's launch into the musical world this June with her interconnected songs 'I Forgot' and 'Out of my Head' which were released in June to rave reviews. Following those releases, Cara dropped a third single 'Need It,' which was co-written with her friend and musical mentor, Fiona Apple.
Earlier this summer, Cara kicked off her headline tour with shows across Europe, the U.K., and the U.S., including a special festival play at Primavera Sound in Barcelona before wrapping with sold out shows in both LA and Brooklyn. Her festival run will continue with a handful of dates including All Things Go NYC, and Primavera Sound editions in Buenos Aires and São Paulo.
