CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD, the nation's #1 Sunday morning news program, delivered more than 6 million viewers for the eighth consecutive week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Feb. 21.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted 6.04 million viewers and a 1.4/07 in adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is the #1 Sunday morning with viewers and adults 25-54, delivering 6.00 million viewers and a 1.3/07 with adults 25-54.

Sunday's broadcast featured Rita Braver's report on the controversial issue of assisted death for those with terminal illnesses; Lee Cowan's look at an exhibit at New York's Grolier Club of books that, beneath their covers, aren't really books at all; Ben Tracy's interview with comedian, actor, and children's book author B.J. Novak; Conor Knighton's latest installment in his year-long 100th anniversary tour of America's National Parks; Tracy Smith's profile of Oscar nominated actress Jennifer Jason Leigh; Seth Doane's piece on snow monkeys of Nagano, Japan; David Martin's interview with former NSA Chief and CIA Director Michael Hayden; and Steve Hartman's visit with a boy who hosts a party honoring police officers.
