Briga Heelan to Star in ABC Comedy Pilot COUNTER CULTURE

According to TVGuide.com, Briga Heelan has joined the cast of the upcoming ABC comedy pilot COUNTER CULTURE. The actress joins previously announced cast members Margo Martindale, Delta Burke, Kerri Kenney, Ken Howard and Doris Roberts.  

COUNTER CULTURE tells the story of three aging sisters who run a family diner together in West Texas and struggle with conflicting sibling dynamics that get in the way of the restaurant's success. Heelan will portray Jill, the daughter-in-law of Joyce (Martindale), the eldest of the three sisters.

Heelan currently appears in a recurring role as Holly on the ABC comedy series Cougar Town.
