Body of AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY Actress Misty Upham Believed to Be Found

KIRO-TV writes that Auburn, WA, police believe a body found near the White River is that of AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY actress Misty Upham, who was reported missing on October 6.

An official identification has not been made. Upham has been listed as missing in the Washington Crime Information Center database.

The actress, 32, was last seen leaving her sister's apartment in Muckleshoot on October 5, after telling police she was suicidal.

Upham had moved to the area to help take care of her father, who is recovering from a stroke.

Upham's father Charles previously told The Hollywood Reporter that she "had recently changed her medication, so she was sort of having erratic behavior. She told me and her mom that we didn't have to worry about her any more. ... I thought it sounded suicidal myself, so I called the police. She's always been a suicidal person."

Misty Upham played 'Johnna Monevata' in last year's film adaptation of Tracy Letts' Pulitzer Prize- and Tony-winning play AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY. Among the actress' other film credits are FROZEN RIVER, DJANGO UNCHAINED and JIMMY P.
