Bell to Star in 'Scream 4'

Kristen Bell is to star in 'Scream 4', contactmusic.com reports.  The film, which is be directed by Wes Craven, will also feature Courteney Cox, Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panetierre, and Anna Paquin. 

Filming for 'Scream 4' is currently in progress in Michigan; the film is due to be released in April 2011, Contact Music reports. 

'Scream 4' is intended as a reboot of the 'Scream' franchise and will possibly lead to a new trilogy of films.

Kristen Bell's stage credits include Broadway's THE ADVENTURES OF Tom Sawyer (Becky Thatcher) and THE CRUCIBLE (SusAnna Walcott), as well as REEFER MADNESS (Mary) and A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC (Frederika Armfeldt). Her film and television credits include the title role in 'Veronica Mars,' 'Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical,' 'Heroes,' 'Gossip Girl,' and 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall.'
