BWW Exclusive: DWTS's Mark Ballas Talks New Music from Duo 'Alexander Jean'

In a BWW exclusive, our music contributor Kevin Pollack speaks with DANCING WITH THE STARS Mark Ballas!
By day, Mark Ballas was a regular on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars." By night, the 29-year-old Texas native returns home to his fiancee, singer-songwriter BC Jean, to write music. The duo, who perform under the stage moniker Alexander Jean (a portmanteau of their middle names), perform what I call "sexy rock with a taste of flamenco."
Their debut single, "Roses and Violets," recently charted at #1 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart. They were gracious enough to take the time to sit down with me and my assistant Katherine Damisch to talk about their new EP, their tour and about everything they love.
