It's down to the final five queens! Roxxy Andrews continues to stay in the competition by flying under the radar; Detox is annoyed that she isn't winning more; and Alaska is getting cocky. But Mama Ru has a makeover challenge up her floral sleeves: the ladies are about to drag out their mothers and sisters!

The family frenzy includes Alyssa's sister, Tabitha; Alaska's mom, Pam; Detox's sister, Heather; Katya's mom, Pat; and Roxxy's grandmother, Sonia. It's nice to see some genuine moments of emotion from the queens out of drag-the audience gets a look at the performers' life out of the limelight. Both Alyssa and Detox have impending or recent memorial anniversaries, and each is grateful to have their sisters with them as they mourn. (It's also interesting to see legitimately female versions of the queens.)

Alyssa and sister, Tabitha, remember their mother.

Start your engines: the queens and their partners vogue the runway to pieces. Alyssa predictably wears everything humanly possible that fits on one body, but Tabitha's transformation from sorority freshman to sexy spy "Ava Edwards" is glamorous despite random feathers stuffed in every seam of the costume. Alaska and her mom, Hawaii, present a disjointed casual Friday Greased Lightning bit involving a horse head. Detox and D-rama are identical before any makeup is applied, and in full drag these redheads ain't no stepchildren, henny. Katya and her mom, Svetlana, rock a 1960s black-and-white pattern-on-pattern, and Roxxy and her mom, Raquel, wear matching pantsuits.

On the runway, Alyssa and Ava show us what God meant by "Texas Hair" with a pair of wigs that defy gravity. Alaska and Hawaii have a traditional black-and-white gown/boa/massive feathered hat combination that lacks statement pieces. Detox and D-Rama both rock high-fashion cutout illusion dresses in Detox's characteristic neon. Katya and Svetlana are a Russian mail-order bride and peasant mother, a hilarious twist on Katya's "Russian" heritage. Roxxy and Raquel finish out the pack with a very typical Roxxy look: animal print and sequins.

The judges love Detox and Katya, but are underwhelmed by Alaska, Alyssa, and Roxxy. With only five gals left, those not in the top are in the bottom. Alaska has an uncharacteristic meltdown, and the remaining queens are not impressed with her temper tantrum.

The top queens lip sync to RuPaul's Step it Up while their family members watch from the lounge. Detox shows off all that ass and gets the victory, and immediately breaks down with the knowledge that she has to send one of her fellow Season 5 Queens home.

She eliminates Alyssa (now the lovely 4th alternate), and the panel is shocked. Detox admits that in the end, she couldn't send her bestie Roxxy home.

Alyssa Edwards, a classy queen, is thrilled by the experience of working with her sister and honoring her mother, and leaves the competition on a high note.

Always and Forever, Alyssa Edwards
