TVGuide.com is reporting that actress Amy Sedaris will be appearing in a recurring role on the CBS drama, THE GOOD WIFE.

Sedaris will play the role of lobbyist Stacie Hall, who will come into conflict with Eli Gold, played by actor Alan Cummings, when she begins to steal clients away from him. Currently, no air date for Sedaris' characters debut has been announced.

The actress is perhaps best known for the popular TV series and film STRANGERS WITH CANDY.  She has been seen on TV most recently in her appearance on RAISING HOPE.  Last November, the actress released a book called "Simple Times: Crafts for Poor People".

In addition to Sedaris' guest spot, actress Parker Posey will also be making a guest-star appearance as Eli Gold's ex-wife in the October 30 episode of THE GOOD WIFE.

THE GOOD WIFE airs on Sundays at 9/8c on CBS.
