'American Idol's Scotty McCreery Announces 2014 Tour!

According to USA Today, American Idol champion Scotty McCreery, who toppedd the Billboard country albums chart last month with his album See You Tonight, has announced his next tour launching in January.

Dubbed the 'See You Tonight Tour', the singer will hit seven cities, including an appearance at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium as well as the Island Resort Casino in Harris, Mich.

"It's cool to be able to sing the songs for people that I wrote because they came from my heart," McCreery said via press release. "This tour will Capture more of who I am than anything I have ever done."

McCreery, whose 2011 Clear as Day debut sold more than a million copies, is nominated for Breakthrough Artist at the American Country Awards, which will air live on FOX on Dec. 10

More dates will be added, but for now, the See You Tonight Tour includes The Following stops:

Jan. 24, 2014 - Paramount Arts Center, Ashland, Ky.

Jan. 25 - Hampton Coliseum (WGH WinterFest), Hampton, Va.

Feb. 15 - Billy Bob's, Fort Worth

Feb. 18 - Ryman Auditorium, Nashville

March 1 - Sea World, Orlando

March 12 - Greensboro, Coliseum, Greensboro, N.C.

May 16-17 - Island Resort Casino, Harris, Mich.
