James Gandolfini, who is most known for starring in the HBO hit "The Sopranos", died yesterday in Italy, according to multiple sources. He was 51. The cause is rumored to be a heart attack but no details have been confirmed. The actor was in Italy for the 59th Taormina Film Festival in Sicily, where he was set to join director Gabriele Muccino for a festival event.

While friends, family and stars of stage and screen mourned the death of the actor, Amazon seemingly seized the opportunity to sell DVD's from HBO's The Sopranos, the series which made Gandolfini a household name.

The company posted on their Facebook page: "Saddened to hear about the passing of James Gandolfini today. We'll miss you, James, and the memborable character you brought to life."

While seemingly heartfelt, the post then went on to link to Amazon's DVD product page for Season One of the HBO series, a move which many considered to be in poor taste.

Amazon has since deleted the Facebook post.
