Alex Feldman Heads Into Action For Final Season Of FX's THE AMERICANS

Actor Alex Feldman heads into action recurring as the Soviet Diplomat 'Fyodor Nesterenko' in Season 6 of the acclaimed FX original drama series, THE AMERICANS, premiering on March 28, 2018.

The final 10-episodes kicks-off with a three year jump in time and the Jennings family in flux. Elizabeth (Keri Russell) is delighted that her daughter, Paige (Holly Taylor), is following in her parents' Soviet spy path, while Philip (Matthew Rhys) steps back from it a bit. In addition, Fyodor (Feldman) is part of a new political climate, which sets-off a rift in the KGB that may put Elizabeth and her husband on opposing sides.

Feldman was thrilled at the opportunity to be part of the final chapter in this high-stakes covert drama, adding "The subject matter explored is relevant to the current political climate. It's a point in history of Russian/American relations that resonates with the crossroads the two nations encounter today. The intelligent writing on this allows the audience to explore the difficult questions through a very personal point of view. What fun to creatively participate in this process."

Born in Kiev, Ukraine, raised in New York and now based in Los Angeles, Feldman has built a solid resume and reputation on both coasts. He has appeared on numerous televisions shows including Shooter, Code Black, Cold Case, In Plain Sight, CSI: Miami, Law & Order, and Without A Trace among others; and proved a stand-out in the Lifetime bio-pic Bling Ring. His film credits include Chernobyl Diaries, Repo Chick, When Will I Be Loved, Kush, Trespassers, The Collector, and The Final Patient among others.

A graduate from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, Feldman has also proven a true multi-hyphenate. Not only is he an Actor, but he is also a rising Writer/Director, successful business owner and respected Teacher. Behind the scenes as a Writer/Director, Feldman is currently in-development on two Science fiction series. He is the Founder of the Los Angeles-based creative community called For Actors By Actors, and a faculty member of the Los Angeles acting conservatory, Theatre of Arts. And, he proudly admits his most rewarding role is that of Father.
