Alec Baldwin Developing New Talk Show for ABC

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alec Baldwin is currently developing a talk show for ABC which will be based on his WNYC radio show and podcast 'Here's the Thing With Alec Baldwin.'

While a deal between the network and the Emmy winner has not been made official, a source reports that discussions have been underway for weeks and production on the project is scheduled to begin next week. It remains unclear whtn THE TALK show would air. A spokesperson for ABC has declined to comment.

Baldwin currently serves as host of ABC's unscripted game show MATCH GAME and has a first-look deal with ABC Studios in which he will develop scripted and unscripted projects. The actor recently picked up an Emmy Award for his portrayal of President Donald Trump on NBC's SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. He has reprised the role throughout the sketch comedy's current season.
