Agatha Christie's Final Three POIROT Mysteries Only on Acorn TV
Called "One of the great TV achievements-and great TV performances-of the past 30 years" (The Telegraph), Agatha Christie's Poirot, led by fan favorite David Suchet,remains one of the most beloved television series of all time. As the premier streaming service for British TV in North America, Acorn TV is excited to have the exclusive broadcast rights to Agatha Christie's Poirot's final three feature-length mysteries, including Curtain: Poirot's Last Case.
The final series, Series 13, features five TV movies and begins with The Big Four and Dead Man's Folly available on Acorn TV beginning July 28 and Aug. 4, the day after their PBS broadcast. The final three mysteries will not be on PBS and available ONLY on Acorn TV, beginning Aug. 11 for Elephants Can Remember, Aug. 18 for Labours of Hercules, and Aug. 25 for Curtain: Poirot's Last Case. Thereafter, all five new mysteries will be available ONLY on Acorn TV, along with all the 65 previous episodes. Acorn TV is the first proprietary digital channel from RLJ Entertainment.
Since its debut on television in 1989, Agatha Christie's famous Belgian detective has put his brilliant intellect and fastidious nature to the test as he solves the most mystifying crimes of the Art Deco era. Brimming with opulent 1930s period details and pitch-perfect performances, these final lavish adaptations feature guest stars Iain Glen (Jack Taylor, Games of Thrones), Helen Baxendale (Friends), and Philip Glenister (Life on Mars), as well as fan favorite Hugh Fraser as Capt. Hastings in the series finale.

Elephants Can Remember-While Poirot investigates a famed psychiatrist's murder, crime novelist Ariadne Oliver looks into a couple's mysterious death. Added Aug. 11
The Labours of Hercules-Poirot journeys to the Swiss Alps to lay a trap for an infamous art thief. Added Aug. 18
Curtain: Poirot's Last Case-After returning to Styles with Hastings, Poirot confronts a killer and his own conscience as he tries to stop a series of murders. Added Aug. 25
Currently, Acorn TV, at www.Acorn.TV and its popular Roku channel, features the first 65 episodes (Series 1 - 12) to watch anytime. Once Curtain is added on Aug. 25, Acorn TV will be the only place with all 70 episodes. Over its 25-year run, Agatha Christie's Poirot has been a stepping stone for many top actors, including guest stars Emily Blunt, Michael Fassbender, Doctor Who's Peter Capaldi, Homeland's Damian Lewis, two-time Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain, Sleepy Hollow's Tom Mison, The Walking Dead's David Morrissey, and Downton Abbey's Hugh Bonneville, among many others.
