Haley Reinhart, the third place finisher in last season's AMERICAN IDOL on Fox, has announced that she will be releasing her debut single in March.

The singer shared the news on her Twitter account stating, "I feel like I've made yaz wait long enough. So I won't make you do any of that much longer... All the hard work is finally coming together to pay off..... :D Thanks for sticking around and ya know, helpin' a girls dream come true..."

Adding to the suspence of her announcement, Reinhart joked, "My first single will be released... Bum bum bummmmmmmmmm!!!!! Onnnnnnn................................................. March 1, 2012 :)"

In July, Reinhart signed a record contract with 19 Recordings/Interscope Records. The deal marked the fourth Season 10 contestant to acquire a recording contract.

This past November, the 19-year-old blues singer released a Christmas video with fellow Idol alum Casey Abrams which featured the classic holiday tune, 'Baby, It's Cold Outside'.
