AMERICAN IDOL Kicks Off Season Two Auditions in Denver

Music industry legends and all-star judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, along with Emmy®-winning producer and host Ryan Seacrest, were on hand when ABC's "American Idol" kicked off judge auditions for the next singing sensation in Denver, Colorado, on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.

"American Idol" is returning to The ABC Television Network for the 2018-2019 season, after first making its return to airwaves as the No. 1 reality show launch for its inaugural season on the network during the 2017-2018 season.

"American Idol," the iconic series that revolutionized the television landscape by pioneering the music competition genre, returned to airwaves at its new home on The ABC Television Network. Helping to determine who America will ultimately vote for to become the next singing sensation are music industry forces and superstar judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Emmy® Award-winning host and producer Ryan Seacrest will return as host of the beloved series.
