"Nightline" beat CBS's "The Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.059 million) by 301,000 and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.325 million) by 35,000.
"Nightline" improved on the previous week's performance in Adults 25-54 (+1% - 492,000 vs. 485,000 on w/o 8/17/15) to deliver a 4-week high - since w/o 7/27/15. For the 2nd week in a row, "Nightline" turned in year-to-year improvement in Total Viewers (+7% - 1.360 million vs. 1.266 million on w/o 8/25/14). Season to date, ABC News' "Nightline" ranks No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.602 million), outdelivering CBS' average of "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson"/"The Late Late Show"/"The Talk - After Dark"/"The Late Late Show with James Corden" (+253,000) and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers (+106,000). NOTE: Due NFL Preseason, CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" was retitled to "The Late Late Show-JC" on Friday (8/28/15) and the telecast was excluded from the weekly averages.
