Opposite Fox's high-rated primetime NFC Divisional Playoff Game (Green Bay Packers vs. Francisco) and an NFL overrun-fueled CBS (AFC Divisional Playoffs) on Saturday, the Net's 9-11pm broadcast of The 2013 Miss America Competition grew its overall audience year to year and made ABC the #1 non-sports network in the time period with Total Viewers and Adults 18-49.

Building steadily throughout its 2-hour telecast, the numbers for The Miss America Competition surged by 2.3 million viewers and by 43% from its first half-hour to its final half-hour.

During its final half-hour from 10:30-11pm, The Miss America Competition attracted 8.3 million viewers and a 2.0 rating, 5 share with young adults.

In Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, ABC earned its strongest entertainment numbers in the time slot since April - since 4/8/12 and 4/27/12, respectively.

Although facing big NFL competition each year, The Miss America Competition increased its overall audience (+6%) for the 2nd straight year on ABC to deliver the program's most-watched broadcast since 2004.
