ABC is #1 Network in Daytime Across Key Demos

For the week of June 2, 2014, ABC swept as the #1 network in daytime across Women 18-34 (188,000/0.6 rating), Women 18-49 (576,000/0.9 rating) and Women 25-54 (753,000/1.2 rating), generating across the board double digit growth year to year.

ABC was the only broadcast network registering year to year increases across all target demos: +15% in Total Viewers (3.0 million vs. 2.6 million), +25% in Women 18-34 (188,000 vs. 150,000), +25% in Women 18-49 (576,000 vs. 459,000) and +19% in Women 25-54 (753,000 vs. 631,000).

"The Chew":

"The Chew" set 10-week highs in Total Viewers (2.8 million) and Women 18-49 (539,000/0.8 rating) and a 9-week high in Women 25-54 (675,000/1.1 rating) - since weeks of 3/24/14 and 3/31/14, respectively.

Impressively, pacing at all-time season highs across-the-board, "The Chew" has generated its Top 22 weeks in the series' history in Total Viewers, Top 11 in Women 18-49 and Top 14 in Women 25-54.

Versus year ago, "The Chew" delivered the largest year to year increases of any program in daytime in Women 18-49 (+47% - 539,000 vs. 367,000) and Women 25-54 (+30% - 675,000 vs. 519,000), and led all talkers in gains in Total Viewers (+12% - 2.8 million vs. 2.5 million).


"General Hospital":

"General Hospital" ranked as the week's #1 program in daytime among Women 18-49 (680,000/1.1 rating - tied on rating) and placed an ultra-competitive #2 in Women 25-54 (909,000/1.5 rating), rising to 8-week highs in the target demos - since week of 4/7/14.

Also impressive, "General Hospital" spiked to a 21-week high in Total Viewers (3.1 million) - since week of 1/6/14 - with the week placing among the series' Top 5 weeks in nearly 6-and-a-half years (dates back to 1/28/08).

"General Hospital" posted the biggest year to year gains of any program in daytime in Total Viewers (+24% - 3.1 million vs. 2.5 million) and of any daytime drama in Women 18-34 (+24% - 216,000 vs. 174,000), Women 18-49 (+22% - 680,000 vs. 557,000) and Women 25-54 (+20% - 909,000 vs. 757,000).
