Michigan State at Michigan Highlights Week 6 of ABC's SATURDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
ESPN's networks will be the home to COLLEGE FOOTBALL top teams and two of the best in-state rivalries in week 6 as conference play heats up across the country. Michigan State and No. 7 Michigan meet on ABC's Saturday Night Football Presented by Wells FARGO (7:30 p.m.), the schools' 110th overall meeting all-time. However, it will be the first time the two schools meet UNDER THE LIGHTS and in prime time. In their storied rivalry, Michigan State has had the edge lately, winning seven of the last nine meetings, including a shocking, last minute win the last time the Spartans traveled to the Big House in 2015. Michigan comes into the game undefeated this season and has yet to allow more than 17 points to an opponent. Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Maria Taylor will be at Michigan Stadium for the call of the game.
No. 13 Miami and Florida State, No. 1 Alabama at Texas A&M Highlight ESPN's Slate
Miami heads to Florida State (3:30 p.m. ESPN) as the 13th ranked Hurricanes meet the Seminoles for the 62nd time. The Hurricanes come into the matchup unbeaten on the season and looking to beat their in-state rival for the first time since 2009. With their recent success, the Seminoles have pulled within one game of Miami in their all times series (31-30). Dave Pasch, Greg McElroy, and Tom Luginbill will be in Tallahassee, Fla., for the call of the game.
ESPN's primetime slate features No. 1 Alabama on the road at Texas A&M (7:15 p.m.). The Crimson Tide will be looking for its fifth straight win over the Aggies after beginning conference play with back-to-back statement victories against Vanderbilt and Ole Miss. The Aggies, also 2-0 in SEC play, are looking for their first ever victory against Alabama in Kyle Field. Joe Tessitore, Todd Blackledge and Holly Rowe will be in College Station, Texas.
No. 2 Clemson, No. 4 Penn State and No. 5 Georgia Begin Saturday's Game Action
A trio of top 5 teams will play in the noon window, as No. 2 Clemson hosts Wake Forest (ESPN2), No. 4 Penn State is at Northwestern (ABC) and No. 5 Georgia is at Vanderbilt (ESPN). Beth Mowins, Anthony Becht, and Rocky Boiman will be in Clemson, S.C, while Steve Levy Brian Griese, and Todd McShay will be in State College, Pa., and Mike Patrick, Tommy Tuberville, and Paul Carcaterra are in Nashville, Tenn.
ESPN's Thursday night action will feature No. 17 Louisville at No. 24 N.C. State (8 p.m.). On that same night, Alcorn State is at Alabama State (7:30 p.m. ESPNU), with Tiffany Greene and Jay Walker on the call.
