Since releasing their first album in 1986, Salt-n-Pepa has sold over 15 million albums and singles worldwide, making them one of the best-selling female rap acts of all time.  You will not want to miss Salt-n-Pepa perform live with Slick Rick and Funkmaster Flex tonight, July 26th  at 8PM.  Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com or bergenPAC.org or by calling the box office at 201 227 1030.

Salt-n-Pepa has released five albums, with their 1993 album Very Necessary achieving the most sales and was certified five times platinum.  Six of their single releases were certified either platinum or gold in the United States by the RIAA.  In 1994, the group received three MTV Video Music Awards for “Whatta Man,” including Best R&B Video.  In 1995, they received the Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for "None of Your Business.”  Although the group officially split ways in 2002, Salt-n-Pepa continue to work and perform together. 

Slick Rick, is a Grammy-nominated British American rapper.  Slick Rick began his career in late 1983, in the hip hop genre, where he recorded a series of acclaimed recordings such as "La Di Da Di" and "Children's Story". Slick Rick is best known for his storytelling innovations in this genre. His music has been frequently sampled and interpolated by other artists such as TLC, Black Star, The Notorious B.I.G. and Snoop Dogg, with many of these songs later becoming hit singles.

Funkmaster Flex is an American hip hop DJ, rapper, musician and producer on New York City's Hot 97 radio station and host of the hit MTV show Funk Flex Full Throttle.  Funkmaster Flex will be the DJ for the evening.
