Critically acclaimed, Grammy®-nominated multi-platinum artist Tove Lo, who has surpassed Spotify's 1 billion-stream plateau, releases a new video today for "True Disaster". "True Disaster" is the second single off of her brand new album LADY WOOD (released October 28th via Island Records), which scored a Top 10 albums chart debut.

"True Disaster" is one of five tracks from LADY WOOD that are featured on the raw and bold short film Fairy Dust, in which Tove Lo makes her acting debut alongside "alter ego" co-star Lina Esco (Kingdom, Flaked). In addition to "True Disaster," Fairy Dust features "Influence," "Lady Wood," "cool girl," and "Vibes". Fairy Dust is the brainchild of Tove Lo and Swedish director and co-writer Tim Erem. Fairy Dust, "a raw, beautiful, and proudly provocative exploration of sexual desire, obsession, denial, and pain, not entirely unlike what we experience today" (V magazine) ignited a storm that led YouTube to remove the film from view (after its album release day premiere worldwide), only to reinstate it hours later.

Tove Lo's graphic finale in the film "must be seen to be believed" (wrote V), enacted over "What I Want For the Night (Bitches)," an unreleased track destined for LADY WOOD's follow-up LP. As NME quickly reported, "Tove Lo took to Twitter to address the film being pulled. She wrote: "So I did release #FairyDust today but it's been taken down cause of @YouTubes policies on sexual content. HA. #imnotevennaked."

At the same time, venues are rapidly selling out for Tove Lo's first North American tour dates of 2017. The 11-city "Lady Wood Tour" of the U.S. and Canada opens February 6th at Showbox SoDo in Seattle, and wraps up at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC on February 24th. Tickets can now be purchased at www.tove-lo.com. Tove Lo will also be joining the lineups in seven U.S. cities for select iHeart Radio Jingle Ball Dates. (Please see all tour dates below.)

LADY WOOD is the long-awaited successor to Tove Lo's landmark debut album of 2014, the RIAA platinum Queen Of The Clouds. The album included "Habits (Stay High)" the career-defining 5x-platinum global #1 hit that introduced her to U.S. audiences, and has surpassed 1 billion Spotify streams; and the triple-platinum follow-up, "Talking Body" (#3 on Billboard Pop Airplay, #12 on the Hot 100). Tove Lo has also been the featured artist on tracks by Nick Jonas ("Close"), Coldplay ("Fun"), Years & Years ("Desire"), Broods ("Freak Of Nature"), Flume ("Say It"), and Alesso ("Heroes").
