Cardi B stepped in as Jimmy Fallon's co-host on Monday, April 9. She added her own spin on the nightly monologue, telling some jokes of her own. She and Jimmy also took turns trying to stump each other about what items are hidden inside their mystery boxes.

Then, Cardi B made herself at home in Jimmy's seat at the Tonight Show desk to chit chat about Mean Girls on Broadway, her tour plans after giving birth and why she's never felt so hungry to succeed.

Jimmy interviewed the singer, who reveals why she chose to confirm pregnancy rumors during her SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE performance, reaffirms her Twitter love for Chrissy Teigen and teaches everyone how to use her popular catchphrases correctly.

Finally, Cardi B performed her song 'Money Bag.'

The show premiered on February 17, 2014, and is produced by Broadway Video and Universal Television. It is the seventh incarnation of NBC's long-running Tonight Show franchise, with Fallon serving as the sixth host. The show also stars sidekick and announcer Steve Higgins and house band The Roots. The Tonight Show is produced by Katie Hockmeyer and executive-produced by Lorne Michaels. The show records from Studio 6B in Rockefeller Center, New York City. This was where The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson was filmed until 1972.

The program airs weeknights at 11:34 p.m. ET/PT. The show opens with Fallon's topical monologue, then transitions into comedic sketches/games, concluding with a guest interview and musical performance. On August 13, 2015, NBC announced that Fallon signed a contract to remain as host until at least 2021
