VIDEO: Vance Joy Releases the Music Video For 'I'm With You'

Vance Joy today reveals the lush, cinematic video for his new single 'I'm With You'.

A re-worked version of the popular track taken from his ARIA #1, gold-selling album Nation of Two, 'I'm With You. is a fan favourite and follows on from fellow singles 'Lay It On Me' (2x platinum), 'We're Going Home' (platinum) and 'Saturday Sun' (gold).

Created by US director Mimi Cave, with whom Vance Joy has collaborated in the past (Lay It On Me, We're Going Home, Call If You Need Me), the stunning video is a perfect companion piece to the song. Shot in Hawaii, it follows two women through a magical landscape, with a dreamlike feel.

"These two women meet in a world that feels like the interior of their imaginations. In this place they drown-out any preconceived ideas of who they're supposed to be or be with... they're free from judgement. The video depicts the idea of meeting someone that understands you in a way that feels like looking into a mirror... That someone that you can be with and say nothing - but know they're right there with you no matter what."

Since leaving Australia following his local Nation of Two Tour dates, Vance Joy has played to adoring crowds throughout Latin America, with shows in Peru, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Mexico. The tour, which has totalled 83 dates globally, will wind up in Europe in November.

Vance Joy was also announced last week as the main support on P!NK's European Summer Tour for 2019, which will see him returning to stadiums on the continent on a tour spanning over two months. He also received three ARIA Award nominations for this year's awards, including the coveted Song of the Year for 'Lay it On Me'.

Local fans will be treated to headline sets from the singer-songwriter at the Fairgrounds Festival in November and again at Falls Festival at year's end.
