The Transcendence Theatre Company will present Carrie Manolakos and Morgan Karr in concert at Landmark Vineyards as the second offering from the Transcendence Artist Series on August 1st and 2nd.

"Carrie and Morgan have wowed our audiences and represented our company in such a phenomenal way that we couldn't resist this opportunity to unite them together for this concert..." says Artistic Director, Amy Miller, "This opportunity to see them at their best, under the stars at Sonoma Valley's Landmark Vineyards, singing their transcendent original music, is going to be one our audiences will talk about for years."

Carrie Manolakos (the voice and the songwriter behind Transcendence Theatre's 2014 season theme song and wine, "Paint The Universe") is in the top 100 of the Singer/Songwriter iTunes pop charts with her debut album "Echo", and became an internet sensation with her haunting performance of Radiohead classic "Creep", which was captured at her album release concert in April 2012 at (le) poisson rouge. That video has over 2,140,000 views and is still climbing. She was selected for Elle Magazine's "30 Under 30: Essential Names to Know", voted #1 by readers. Carrie has sung with Phish at Madison Square Garden, as a guest artist for their much anticipated New Years Eve Show... one of their wildest in history.

Manolakos has a background in musical theater, including playing the lead role of Sophie in Mamma Mia on Broadway, as well as Elphaba on the Second National Tour of Wicked. Her debut album, Echo, is a lyrical blend of folk, pop and soul. Her sound dances among the stars of Adele and Joni Mitchell, with a kiss blown to Jeff Buckley, but a voice that is unmistakably hers alone.

For award-winning entertainer Morgan Karr, luck is not something that happens to you; luck is something you create. A Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter, Morgan was born in Nashville where he began voice & piano lessons at the age of nine. Growing up in the heart of Music City exposed him to genres ranging from country and gospel to pop music and musical theater. Through these influences and inspirations, he's cultivated a style that is unmistakably his own.

Morgan is currently featured on Beatport's top 10 song charts with the song "Eyes". Morgan released his self-titled EP on May 11th, 2011 and broke the top 100 Singer/Songwriters on iTunes in the first week of its release. In 2012 he won the John Lennon Songwriting Competition through Sonicbids to perform at the annual NAMM Convention in Anaheim. Morgan has called Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Nashville home - but home is a feeling and his music, a reflection. Many may remember Morgan from his work on Broadway in the 8-time Tony Award and Grammy-winning pop musical "Spring Awakening," but his work transcends audiences to a new level.

These two magical nights will take place at the beautiful Landmark Winery deep in the heart of Sonoma. Doors will open at 6 PM and this must-see show begins at 7:30 PM. The Landmark Winery is located at 101 Adobe Canyon Rd., Sonoma, CA 95452.

Additional shows in the Transcendence Artist Series include "Steppin' Out Live, with Ben Vereen", "Witness Uganda", by Matt Gould and Griffin Matthews, and "Oh What a Beautiful Mashup!" starring Leah Sprecher and Stephan Stubbins.

Also produced by the Transcendence Theatre Company, the 2014 "Broadway Under the Stars" summer concert series in Jack London State Historic Park continues, with "The Music of the Night," August 14, 15, 16, 22, 23, 24, featuring world class singers and dancers sharing beautiful music that will inspire and ignite the audience, as well as to close the season, the "Gala Celebration Concert," September 5, 6.
