Tiffany Houghton Releases '17 Again' on VEVO and iTunes

Did you feel extra lucky yesterday? Thought so!You have Tiffany Houghton to thank for that, as she released her new single and video "17 Again." The track released on iTunes and VEVO, and marks the second release in a series of three acoustic releases from Miss Houghton!

The video for "17 Again" is inspired by one of Tiffany's favorite movies, Breakfast at Tiffany's!

Shying away from Tiffany blue boxes, diamond necklaces and social parties in the video, Houghton chooses to pay tribute to the "Moon River" balcony scene, commenting, "The emotion that I have always felt while watching that scene seemed to run parallel to the emotion of this song. In the movie, this is the only time we see Holly not dolled up, trying to impress everyone. Instead, she's stripped down, caught up in the music and being herself. I also always saw this as the turning point of the movie when Paul realized he was falling in love with her. It's just real - which is what I always aim for with my music."

Drawing parallels from this scene and her personal life, "17 Again" sheds light on Tiffany's struggle between courageously pursuing her music career and missing the comfort of her teen years and her home town.

"When I first moved to Nashville I had left my high school sweetheart behind. I immersed myself in my career and pretended to forget, but I hadn't. One night, when I was alone, all of those feelings rushed back and the result is this song," says Houghton. Never failing to evoke emotion, this song is raw and highly relatable.
