The Bones of J.R. Jones Share New Video, Plus LP Out Today

Upstate New York-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jonathon Linaberry releases his third studio album as The Bones of J.R. Jones today. An 11-track collection of stomp-along songs that evoke a vivid spectrum of emotion, Ones To Keep Close further solidifies his moody blend of garage-influenced soul, blues, roots, and Americana.

Alongside release, The Bones of J.R. Jones share a gorgeous new video for album highlight "Sinner Song" via Ones To Watch. Directed by Joshua Zimmerman (History Channel's Vikings), the video plays off of the contrasting ideas behind death and rebirth. "I like the idea of the viewer wondering if they are witnessing a murder or a ceremony," Linaberry comments. "I wanted there be to an ambiguity."

Highlighted by gritty guitar riffs and Linaberry's soul-flecked vocals, Ones To Keep Closefeatures a collaboration with soul-psych luminary Nicole Atkins on lead single "Burden." To date, The Bones of J.R Jones has garnered over 10 million streams across platforms and earned acclaim from the likes of Noisey, American Songwriter, Flaunt Magazine, and more.
