Pale Blue is the new alias for Mike Simonetti, one of NYC's most infamous underground producers, paired with the vocals of Elizabeth Wight. The duo's seductive double sided EP Comes Home / Have You Walked Through This Night is remixed by breakthrough Spanish producer Pional on Man Power's Me Me Me label.

Have You Passed Through is raw and daring, its female vocal reminiscent of innovative early electro, this is a intoxicating late night anthem of leftfield electronica. Its lyrics are taken from the film The Thin Red Line, a movie about mans destruction of nature, his world and himself. Come Home is equally alluring with a dreamier narrative, and Pional's remix is stripped back and effortless.

"For these two songs, the inspiration is coming out of the darkness that is inside all of us. It sounds heavy and overbearing, but dance music is the ideal music for escape. It fits perfectly into the Pale Blue agenda. This music was made for a small, dark crowded dance floors, with low ceilings and high hopes. Humanity is bombarded with suffering and pain at every turn - it's almost like we thrive on it. But we deserve better. These two songs represent part of that struggle- moving towards the light. Take your frustrations out on the dance floor. Throw it all away for the night. The b-side is about coming out of darkness, coming home. Finding euphoria in love and security in one another. Feeling lost in the best way." Pale Blue

The breakthrough young Spanish producer Pional has toured with The XX, released on Young Turks and frequently collaborates with John Talabot, using his own vocals to complement his deep, compulsive electronics. Pale Blue is Mike Simonetti and Elizabeth Wight. Simonetti has over a decade of DJ and production experience and was behind coveted dance music labels Troubleman and Italians Do It Better. His range of influences move between techno and krautrock, ambient to soundtracks, and after remixing tracks from West Coast duo Silver Hands, he became taken by the incredible range of lead-vocalist Elizabeth Wight, and Pale Blue was born from their collaboration. His freshly minted label 2MR (Two Mikes Records) will launch a double album from Pale Blue in the near future.

Man Power's ear for the more captivating and experimental side of electronic music is being championing through Me Me Me, putting discerning dance floors to the test through its releases. 2017 contributions include Andrew Weatherall, Chida, Hammer, Rex The Dog, Daniel Maloso and many more.

Man Power has risen to prominence over the past few years through a beguiling versatility that is eminent in both his DJ and production style, leading to key releases on ESP Institute, John Talabot's Hivern Discs, Permanant Vacaction and Throne of Blood. He currently holds residencies at the esteemed Topaz Deluxe in his new station of Monterrey and at the equally chic MN Roy of Mexico City and his critically acclaimed 2015 album on Jennifer Cardini's Correspondant led to his title as one of XLR8R's Artists of the Year and BBC Radio 1 Future 12 of 2017.
