Reality stars and live auctioneers Dan and Laura Dotson of A&E's popular long running television series, "Storage Wars" have launched a new website that is changing the way people buy and sell their unclaimed, leined storage lockers at public auction.

With "Storage Wars" now airing in over 300 million homes a week and across 200 countries since first airing in 2010, The Dotsons have become the unofficial Ambassadors of Storage, reminding the world to "pay the lady."

"I know how hard and difficult these live auctions are. I know how much trouble the managers go through dealing with these unclaimed lockers and auctions; but when managers have to sell they need an easy and legal way to do it," Dotson said empathetically when asked what inspired the new website.

The intention behind the website is for storage sellers and auction organizers to be able to turn to an easier online solution. Storageauctions.net connects over 300,000 subscribers to over 58,000 self-storage facilities daily and through online auctions across the United States. With each auction garnering 150 to 300 views, that's more views than the usual number of people that attend an onsite live auction, according to Dotson.

"Live auctions have their downfalls. People leave messes, leave cigarette butts, have caused fires, sometimes there's no parking and crowds can often drive paying storage customers away," Dotson said.

Storageauctions.net ensures their safety and anonymity are reserved and the dignity of the live auction is not compromised in a fast-acting market. Included in the website's expansive Seller Dashboard of controls is the site's Automatic Lien Generator, strategically built into the site to help decrease sellers' risk while moving towards a more streamlined selling process.
