Bristol-born Drum and Bass pioneer Roni Size is thrilled to return to North America this summer for an extensive string of DJ performances. The tour begins with headlining dates in Canada before making its way to the Moonshine Music Festival in Georgia at the beginning of July; Size will then trek across the US, including shows at the Roxy in Los Angeles and Phoenix Landing in Boston. Earlier this year Size played a handful of US dates for the first time in almost a decade, previewing his solo DJ set, including sold out sets in LA, San Francisco and Denver.
This run comes shortly after Size was awarded the 2017 Music Producers Guild Inspiration Award, acknowledging his contribution to the music industry over his twenty-plus-year career - with Tony Platt, managing director of the MPG's Awards Group, saying "Roni is an inspiration on so many levels. His fresh and inclusive attitude to music production and performance has opened doors for so many aspiring artists and musicians. Staying true to his roots he has avoided the stereotyping of the modern music industry." In addition to releasing his career defining and Mercury Music Prize award-winning double album New Forms 20 years ago with Reprazent, Size has released numerous solo tracks and albums, formed and currently runs Full Cycle Recordings and has produced tracks with Method Man, Zac de la Rocha, and beat-box master Rahzel, among others.Stay updated with Roni Size:
