If Tenacious D and Dolly Parton got drunk and had a baby it would be the musical comedy duo Reformed Whores. The Whores just unveiled their new music video for "Eating Out" -- scroll down to check it out -- and are releasing their sophomore album, DON'T BEAT AROUND THE BUSH: SONGS THAT HIT THE SPOT, on March 18th, 2016.

Southern bred, but NYC-based, Marie Cecile Anderson and Katy Frame deliver hilariously dirty country tunes with a wink and a smile. Reformed Whores have been featured on Gotham Comedy Live, IFC, The Huffington Post, The Washington Post, Sports Illustrated, Nerve.com, PBS, BUST Magazine, IAF.tv, Glamour Magazine, MTV's Guy Code blog, CBS's The Doctors, and the Yahoo! web show Mansome.

For two years, the Whores toured the country opening for Les Claypool's Duo de Twang! They've also opened for comedian Ralphie May, the Reverend Horton Heat, and while performing at the Legendary Sturgis Buffalo Chip in South Dakota they opened for Alice Cooper and Godsmack.

The Whores stay busy straddling both music venues and Comedy Clubs across the country. Some favorites include Carolines on Broadway, headlining Zanies Comedy Club in Nashville, Chicago, and St. Charles, The Improv in Atlanta, BAM in Brooklyn, The Meltdown in LA, Punch Line in SF, NY Comedy Festival, Wild West Comedy Festival, SF Sketchfest, Piccolo Spoleto, and the Charleston Comedy Festival at Theatre 99.

Reformed Whores debut album Ladies Don't Spit is available on iTunes, and their new LP - DON'T BEAT AROUND THE BUSH: SONGS THAT HIT THE SPOT - is due out on March 18th!

Their second LP was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee at the legendary RCA Studio A, where rock and country stars from Elvis Presley and Dolly Parton to Keith Urban and Kacey Musgraves cut classics new and old, and which singer Ben Folds has rented and operated for the last 13 years. "Reformed Whores are super talented, hilarious ladies. This album cracks me up! I've never heard such sweet voices harmonize the word 'weiner' before." - Joe Costa, album enginner (Ben Folds, Hank Williams, William Shatner)

While in the studio, they were joined by some of Nashville's most talented musicians, such as Dave Roe Rorick (Johnny Cash's bass player from 1992 to 2003), Jeff King (Reba McEntire's guitar player), Mike Johnson (ACM Steel Guitar Player of the Year), and Ken Lewis (LAna del Rey and The Civil Wars). Ben Fold's engineer Joe Costa ran the show and Bryan Kehoe from Les Claypool's Duo de Twang helped organized the whole shebang. We recorded most of the album in two days, with only having the studio musicians there one of the two days. The radio voiceovers were recorded at Vanity Sound (co-founders Myles Turney & Joel Arnow) in Hastings on Hudson, NY. Comedian, Dan Menke plays the role of Thurston Dallas on WBEV. The record was mixed by Myles Turney and mastered by Dan Millice.
