Veteran rock band REO Speedwagon makes its first appearance at the Gallo Center for the Arts at 7:30 pm tonight, Monday, September 16.

Tickets are $49 to $89 and may be purchased online at GalloArts.org, by calling (209) 338-2100, or at the Gallo Center ticket office at 1000 I Street in downtown Modesto.

Formed in 1967, and fronted by iconic vocalist Kevin Cronin since 1972, REO Speedwagon has sold more than 40 million recordings worldwide, including such hits as "Time for Me to Fly," "Take It On The Run," "Can't Fight This Feeling," "Roll With the Changes," "Keep on Loving You," "I Needed To Fall," and "Smilin' In The End." The band is widely credited for jump starting the burgeoning rock movement in the Midwest, from which bands such as STYX, Kansas, and Cheap Trick would later follow.

REO Speedwagon's appearance at the Gallo Center is sponsored by AlfrEd Matthews, Walmart and Union Bank.
