Paradise Fears kicks off their first North American headlining tour today in conjunction with signing to Nashville's DigSin and releasing a brand new single, "You To Believe In."

Produced by John Fields (P!nk, Jonas Brothers, Har Mar Superstar), the single premiered on Minneapolis' 101.3 KDWB on the heels of Macy's iHeartRadio Rising Star Contest, where fans voted to make them one of this year'sfive finalists.

The big headlining tour kicks off today, August 6th in Chicago, IL and has them out for two months, wrapping in Minneapolis on September 27th and hitting nearly every major market along the way. Paradise Fears will be joined for the entire run by William Beckett and on select dates by Hollywood Ending, Against the Current, and Nick Thomas (of The Spill Canvas).

Paradise Fears -- Sam Miller (vocals), Cole Andre (guitar, vocals), Michael Walker (keys, vocals), Jordan Merrigan (guitar), and Marcus Sand (bass) -- started making music together in high school in their hometown of Vermillion, South Dakota. Over the next few years, they worked tirelessly to self-release and self-promote two EPs and two LPs, Yours Truly (2011) and Battle Scars (2013). As a group, they strived to always make genuine and meaningful music for themselves and their fans, which has helped them build an extremely active and devoted following. On the strength of that community they've toured extensively throughout the states with acts like Parachute, All Time Low and more and were able to hit the UK for the first time this year.

Eventually, the buzz would catch the attention of Nashville independent label DigSin, who signed the band earlier this year and released single "You To Believe In" last week via iTunes and Spotify. Miller says of the release and signing:

"After hundreds of small steps, 'You To Believe In' and signing to DigSin feels to us like the first really big step of our career. Musically, it's right where we want to be - moving people with the arrangement & challenging people with the lyric. It walks a cool line between unwarranted optimism & uncontrollable cynicism - just feeling so happy-sad. The story of my 20's, thus far."
