OUTPOST Presents TUSKEGEE With Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers At The Brooklyn Mirage June 24

On Sunday June 24, award-winning nightclub OUTPUT is pleased to present its popular off-site series OUTPOST at The Brooklyn Mirage as together they host one of the world's biggest labels and party brands Tuskegee for its annual summer New York event. Taking over the sprawling outdoor oasis from 4pm-12am, the highly-anticipated event will see label founders Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers go back-to-back all night long in what is without a doubt going to be a summer standout for house and techno lovers in The Big Apple.

The brainchild of underground house aficionados Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers, the label Tuskegee was formed in 2014 out of the need to put the record straight about who and where house and techno originally came from. By providing a platform for black, Latin and minority electronic dance music artists, they have built a label steeped in cultural heritage that has released tracks from industry heavyweights and newcomers including Omar-S, William Djoko, Filsonik and more exceptionally talented artists of color.

It's been a whirlwind few years for Mixmag's 2014 'DJs of the Year' in which the brotherly duo have collaborated with fellow Nuyorican and house music don Louie Vega, disco legend Nile Rodgers, and produced hip hop records alongside hip hop greats, the Wu-Tang Clan. Known for their stellar marathon sets including a recent 32 hour stint with Music On's Marco Carola at clubbing institution Club Space Miami, The Martinez Brothers have come a long way since their Bronx high school days. With a slew of festival and club dates lined up for the summer, including the highly-coveted closing set at Detroit's prestigious Movement Festival in May, 2018 is already well on its way to being one of their biggest years yet.

Since emerging as a teenager out of Detroit, Seth Troxler has become one of the underground's most influential and forward thinking DJs, producers and label owners. Voted as Resident Advisor's number one DJ in their 'Top 100 DJ' polls in 2013, the outspoken artist counts releases on some of the industry's leading labels including Crosstown Rebels, Spectral, Wagon Repair, and Wolf + Lamb Records not to mention his own three imprints Tuskegee, Soft Touch and Play It Say It. Having remixed for Art Department, Blood Orange, David Lynch, Fever Ray, Matthew Dear and Tracy Thorn, his discography is vast and impressive which is soon to include an upcoming retrospective project collating unreleased work from 2006-2010, titled 'This is Then - Finally Physical' out April 27 via Play It Say It.

As two of New York's best venues join forces, fans can look forward to an evening filled with exceptional music, state of the art stellar KV2 audio sound, and top of the line video-projection mapping and lighting. Set against the backdrop of the Manhattan skyline in the industrial oasis of The Brooklyn Mirage boasting towering palm trees, sleek lounge spaces and sweeping views, this is a rare opportunity to catch two of house music's most important contemporary acts throw down in a city with a rich history and close connection to where dance music all began.
