Matt and Kim Release New Track HAPPY IF YOU'RE HAPPY From Forthcoming LP ALMOST EVERYDAY

Today, Matt and Kim debut new track "Happy If You're Happy" from forthcoming LP ALMOST EVERYDAY, due out this May on FADER Label.

New track "Happy If You're Happy" is the third offering from ALMOST EVERYDAY. Featuring snapping fingers and arpeggiated vocals from Kim, the single is an acapella love song sung by Matt who says , "Happy If You're Happy" is a song I should have written years ago. It's about how Kim is the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm sorry it took so long.".

Additionally, today Matt and Kim launch the album pre-order with multiple exclusive Red, White, and Blue vinyl offerings, starting with limited edition WHITE VINYL. The album can be pre-ordered here.

ALMOST EVERYDAY is Matt and Kim's 6th studio album. Co-produced by Lars Stalfors and Matt Johnson, the album includes guest vocals from the band's friends such as Mark Hoppus, Clairo, King Tuff, Flosstradamus, Santigold, Kevin Morby, Cole and Max Becker from SWMRS, Kevin Ray from Walk The Moon, Travis Hayley from Night Riots, HXLT, Dave Monks from Tokyo Police Club, Van William from Waters, and Fletcher C. About the writing process of ALMOST EVERYDAY, Matt says, "2017 was not a great year for us. Kim got real depressed during her recovery, and anyone who knows Kim (or has seen her play) knows she's such a bad-ass upbeat person so it was hard. Then of course almost everyday it seemed like there was another terrible headline. I feel since the beginning of music people have used writing songs as a form of therapy, but I'm not sure we ever really did...until 2017."

This winter Matt and Kim released two additional singles from the album: "Forever" including guest vocals from Mark Hoppus and SWMRS, and "Like I Used To Be" featuring stand-out vocals from Kim in the song's chorus, as well as additional background vocals from Flosstradamus and Travis Hayley from Night Riots.

Matt and Kim are currently on a U.S. tour through May, including dates with Tokyo Police Club, CRUISR, TWINKIDS and label mates, FUTURE FEATS. The band will be making stops in Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Brooklyn, Atlanta's Shaky Knees Festival, Guadalajara's Corona Capital, Toronto's Canadian Music Week and more (full list of tour dates below).
