LEON Releases New Single and Video YOU & I, Confirmed Album Release Date

Following the announcement of LÉON's'You and I World Tour - Part 1,' which starts in Europe on March 30, the Swedish artist has confirmed she will be releasing her highly anticipated self-titled debut album worldwide on March 1 via her own LÉON Recordings imprint on BMG.

To celebrate the news of her forthcoming full-length release, LÉON has also released a brand new single and video titled 'You and I.' The gloriously up-tempo single was written by LÉON and produced by Electric and comes with a stunning official music video directed by Wendy McColm, also out today. 'You and I' is the third track to come from the Swedish songstress since the Fall of 2018, when she surprised fans with the release of 'Baby Don't Talk,' and followed with the impeccable 'Falling,' further continuing to demonstrate her knack for writing and recording unforgettable pop songs. All three songs offer listeners an exciting glimpse of what's to come from her forthcoming debut album, to be released independently, thus providing the talented songwriter all the creative room required to release an uncompromised body of work. At the end of the day, LÉON's goal is to make a meaningful connection with her music. "I want people to listen and relate," she says. "This album is something I've had in my head forever, but didn't bring to life until now. It's different and bright."

Earlier this week, LÉON announced that she will be returning to the stage from March onwards for the first leg of her 2019 'You and I' World Tour, presented by Ones to Watch. Starting in her native Stockholm, Sweden on March 30, the European tour will be making stops in Norway, Copenhagen, Berlin, Amsterdam and Paris before wrapping in London on April 8. On April 19, LÉON will be crossing the Atlantic with her band to embark on their North American headlining tour, starting in Washington, D.C, then making 20 more stops across the country.
