Having become the fastest artist in history to reach one billion streams in 2015, 2016 is shaping up to be even bigger for Kyrre Gørvell Dahl, aka KYGO, as he reveals the details behind his debut studio album, 'Cloud Nine'.
First teased back in February for his fans and 18 months in the work, the Norwegian sensation now shares a confirmed release date for 'Cloud Nine', the exclusive artwork for the album designed by none other than Mr. Brainwash, and his brand new track, 'Fragile', featuring Labrinth, and it's all available to pre-order now! With a tracklisting still to come, 'Cloud Nine' is set for release on May 13, 2016, via Sony Music International/Ultra Music. Those who pre-order 'Cloud Nine' from today will also receive 'Fragile' as an instant free download. Unmistakably his most ambitious effort to date, 'Fragile' has Kygo leaving the house scene entirely as he pushes his musical boundaries further than ever before, stripping back things to 75 bpm and crafting a rousing ballad around Labrinth's stunning vocals. 'Fragile' was first performed live last week on Norwegian TV show, 'Senkfeld', to a stunning reaction online.
Having topped seven million record sales since the original release of 'Firestone' back in 2014, Kygo has amassed a who's who list of collaborators to join him for what is one of the most anticipated albums of 2016, and with Labrinth the next name out of the bag, expectations will grow once more as to is next to join Kygo on 'Cloud Nine'.
