As a way of continuing to help promote festivals and artists, KadmusArts.com recently partnered with a new social video platform, Spreecast, to host a live and widely distributed interactive conversation about global music, globalFEST and the upcoming SXSW Music Festival.

This event featured Dmitri Vietze, veteran global music expert, Shanta Thake, a globalFEST co-producer and director of Joe's Pub, and Olivier Conan of Chicha Libre, the psychedelic surf cumbia band.

To those interested who were unable to see the Live broadcast, they can now view it on the KadmusArts blog:

Spreecast also continues to promote it and to make it available:

KadmusArts.com’s goal is to make festivals more accessible and to promote the meeting of cultures, performances, and artists. Everything is open — and free. They are here for those who like to travel, want to connect to the best in dance, music, and theatre, and want to follow the latest trends in live entertainment. The site is part of KadmusArts Company, an arts and technology company devoted to connecting audiences to arts, culture, and entertainment around the world. In addition to their festival website, KadmusArts helps arts, media, and entertainment companies tell their story online to deepen the connection to their current audience, and reach new audiences. Their clients range from the Ovation television network, to the Association of Performing Arts Presenters, the world’s largest arts presenters organization, to the remarkable poet, Mary Oliver.
