Billboard.com reports that John Legend will be performing the national anthem for the opening of the NBA Finals on Thursday night (June 2). The Oscar- and Grammy-winning singer and film/TV producer, 37, is set to take the stage on the hardwood ahead of Game 1, where the Cleveland Cavaliers will take on the Golden State Warriors.

The Cavs, led by LeBron James, beat the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals, while the Warriors, helmed by two-time MVP Steph Curry, locked in a Game 7 win against Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals.

Tune into Game 1 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC live from Oakland's Oracle Arena.
