Jared & The Mill Debut 'Keep Me Going' Music Video

Amid its biggest U.S. headline tour yet, Jared & The Mill have shared the official video for "Keep Me Going." Premiering exclusively with The Boot, the visual accompanies the sextet's moving lead single off its forthcoming Orme Dugas EP set for release on September 9.

Over the last two years, the western indie rockers have toured non-stop, joining Barry Gibb, Boy & Bear, Bad Rabbits, Zac Brown and Allen Stone on cross-country stages and experiencing the trials, tribulations and troubles of a life spent constantly in motion. "Keep Me Going" brings the fears of long-distance relationships to life as lead singer/songwriter Jared Kolesar has his heart stolen and broken by a bar vixen in a one-take. Filmed in a charming, smoky dive bar, the band sought to capture the highs, lows and heroes of a friendly neighborhood staple where everyone's worries are welcomed and heartbreak is embraced.

"It's an entertaining metaphor for the idea of not always getting what you expect out of a relationship," Kolesar shared. "The person you're putting yourself out there has a whole lot of power, and there's a special kind of nervousness that's born of it."

Named after an exit near the band's Phoenix, AZ. hometown, Orme Dugas was produced by Grammy-winning producer Ryan Hewitt (Tom Petty, Dixie Chicks, The Avett Brothers) and recorded at Nashville's House of Blues Studios. Jam-packed with telecaster twang, sizzling banjo and soaring harmonies, the five-track EP is a first-hand account of the band's booming life as alt-country rockstars and the beauty and stress that comes along with it.
