RCA Nashville's Jake Owen is celebrating his third consecutive No. 1 single – and first that he co-penned – to date with "The One That Got Away," which landed in the top spot on both the Billboard and Country Aircheck country radio airplay charts this week. The song also hit No. 1 on the MusicRow Country Breakout chart. Just a few days before learning the good news, Jake and his wife Lacey welcomed their first daughter, Olive Pearl Owen.

With infectious lyrics and an irresistible driving energy, "The One That Got Away" is a true story written by Jake along with Jimmy Ritchey and Dallas Davidson. The song is from his chart-topping album Barefoot Blue Jean Night that has launched back-to-back, multi-week No. 1 hits with the PLATINUM-selling title track and the GOLD-certified "Alone with You."
The four-time American Country Awards nominee will make the television debut performance of "The One That Got Away" on the fan-voted awards show airing on FOX on Monday, December 10.

Currently, Jake is on the road with his first headlining tour "CMT ON TOUR Jake Owen: THE SUMMER NEVER ENDS 2012" and he continues to make CMT history with the most consecutive sold-out shows for the annual nationwide tour since its inception eleven years ago. In 2013, Jake will join Jason Aldean's NIGHT TRAIN TOUR.
