Jazz Vocalist Hilary Kole returns to the Cooperstown Summer Music Festival to sing a selection of classic standards and contemporary songs about love, loss, and the journey to find one's true heart. The concert will feature songs from Cole Porter, Elvis Costello, Irving Berlin, Paul Simon, and more.

Performing with Ms. Kole are John Hart, guitar; Adam Birnbaum, piano; Paul Gill, bass; and Aaron Kimmel, drums. Flutist Linda Chesis will join the band to perform "Sentimentale" from Claude Bolling's Suite for Flute and Jazz Trio.

"I'm delighted to bring Hilary back to Cooperstown, she is an incredible performer," says Chesis, who is the Festival's artistic director and founder. The Cooperstown Summer Music Festival has a tradition of featuring jazz artists, including Kurt Elling, the Tierney Sutton Band, Stefon Harris, Bill Charlap, Trio da Paz, the Hank Jones Trio, and the Brubeck Brothers Quartet.

Hilary Kole began her professional career at the legendary Rainbow Room as the youngest singer ever to grace that stage. She has appeared to sold-out audiences at the Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel, at Lincoln Center as part of the "American Songbook Series" with Jonathan Schwartz, and at Carnegie Hall for the tribute to Oscar Peterson alongside Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock and Nancy Wilson. Additional major international appearances have included repeat performances at Blue Note Tokyo, the Montreal Jazz Festival, and the Umbria Jazz Festival.

Ms. Kole has recorded with music legends Oscar Peterson, Dave Brubeck, Hank Jones, Michel Legrand, Mulgrew Miller, Freddy Cole, John Pizzarelli, and Mike Renzi among others. Her CDs are "You Are There," (Justin Time/JVC Japan) and "Haunted Heart" (Justin Time).

Concert tickets are available online, www.CooperstownMusicFest.org; by phone through Brown Paper Tickets, 800/838-3006, or at the door, as available. Tickets are $25 for adults; $15 for students 6-18. The Otesaga Resort Hotel, a grand hotel overlooking Otsego Lake, is located at 60 Lake Street in Cooperstown.
