Gia Mora Plays the Coterie, 7/7

Nationally touring actor and vocalist Gia Mora brings her latest solo show, Sweethearts & Singletons, to The Coterie on Saturday, June 7, 2012. Show time is 8:30 p.m. The Coterie is located at 1755 N. Highland Ave. inside the Lowes Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles.

Sweethearts & Singletons explores the “science of love... theoretically speaking.” Mora turns her signature wit and intellectual prowess on an unlikely paring of human languages--love and mathematics. In her hilarious show, she investigates dating in the digital age on a journey to The Edges of the universe and the interior of your heart. She combines beloved jazz standards with original songs and stories guaranteed to thrill and edify sweethearts and singletons alike.

MEET THE ARTISTS
Gia Mora is a nationally performing actor and vocalist. Past solo performances include headlining at Blues Alley, Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret, An Die Musik, Germano’s, and M Bar. She is a four-time Helen Hayes Award nominee, and her recent musical theatre credits include the world premieres at Ford’s Theatre and the Kennedy Center.
