Gary Floyd & Denise Lee Kick- Off Third Cabaret Season at Fair Park Women's Building and Second Dallas Cabaret Festival

Denise Lee Onstage (DLO) in conjunction with Fair Park Dallas is proud to announce the third season lineup for the cabaret series at the Women's Building and Dallas' 2nd Annual Cabaret Festival. The series, entitled "Life Is a Cabaret," officially launches January 24, 2017, with its first show "Together We Can - Love is the Key" featuring Denise Lee and nationally renowned recording artist and long-time Dallas favorite, Gary Lynn Floyd. Floyd also serves as music director.

They will continue the momentum of last year's first Dallas Cabaret Festival with an outstanding line up for the 2nd Annual Dallas Cabaret Festival, July 27-29, 2017. Opening this year's festival will be the mesmerizing vocalist and former Raelette, Cynthia Scott. "Cynthia Scott is a master at lighting up a stage. Style, sophistication and spunk: She's got it all!" says jazz legend David "Fathead" Newman. The rest of the line-up will be announced soon. Performances take place at the Women's Building at Fair Park (3800 Parry Ave, Dallas, TX 75226).

In addition to Fair Park, DLO will continue cabaret performances every third Tuesday of the month at Two Corks and a Bottle in the Quadrangle in Dallas (2800 Routh St #140, Dallas, TX 75201).

"Cabaret has taken off!!" says Lee. "When I started this journey about 5 years ago, very few venues offered this type of entertainment. And now you see the word 'Cabaret' listed on the schedules of several music establishments.

"We are doing what we set out to do and that's bring entertainers back to the forefront and allowing them to have a musical exchange with the audience," Lee continues. "Engaging with the audience is part of the magic. And now expanding our series to Two Corks and a Bottle allows people to experience 'intimacy' of Cabaret in a large room and a small wine bar!"
