Erie Family Health Center Hosts Eriedescence 2/23

Erie Family Health Center invites the public to its annual winter signature event, Eriedescence, an illuminating evening featuring cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction and music from world renowned DJ Rock City. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, February 23, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Lumen, 839 West Fulton Market St. in Chicago.

About Erie Family Health Center: "Erie Family Health Center is a highly respected, 55-year old community health center that provides high-quality health care to 35,000 low-income Chicagoans each year at eleven sites across Chicago’s west and northwest neighborhoods. Proceeds from the event directly support uninsured and underinsured patients in Erie’s award winning HIV/AIDS program, Lending Hands for Life (LHL). Be a force for change! Attend this year’s event, raise awareness about the unique struggles Erie’s patients face and learn how LHL helps them overcome these challenges."

Silent auction items include spa days, overnight resort stays, Broadway tickets, Cubs versus Sox game tickets, sports memorabilia, personal training sessions with certified fitness experts among other unique items! Plus, a week’s vacation in Casamar, Mexico will be raffled off to one lucky winner.

Started in 1988, Lending Hands for Life is a nationally recognized program that provides primary medical care, support services, case management, health education, ophthalmology care and dental care to HIV/AIDS patients.
